I had so much fun last week on “my date” with fellow contestors, that when I expressed my enthusiastic gratitude to A.M.P.R. for sending the movie passes, they offered to donate more prizes. WOO HOO!!
So, here we go again, and again, and again. This time I got more passes for more cities! I have three passes for each: Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
The Vancouver screening will be held on Monday February 1st at 7:00pm at the Cinemark Tinseltown, 88 West Pender.
The Toronto screening will be held on Wednesday February 3rd at 7:00pm at the AMC Yonge & Dundas Square 24, 10 Dundas Street East.
The Montreal screening will be held on Monday February 1st at 7:00pm at the AMC Forum 22, 2313 Ste-Catherine Ouest.
If you want to win a Movie Night with The Queen (well, in Toronto anyway…), you live in the Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal region and are interested in attending a preview screening of St. John of Las Vegas, watch the trailer below (very funny), then leave a comment stating why you prefer contesting to gambling, along with which city you would like to see the screening in. One entry per person please.
The contest will end at 11:59pm on Wednesday January 20th. I will be randomly selecting 3 winners for each city. Those living in Vancouver and Montreal will have their passes mailed to them. Those in Toronto will meet me at the theatre. I am looking forward to another night of fun and laughter with my contest buddies!!

Contesting is no risk and all gain when you win and fun when you enter
Contesting is better than gambling because it doesn’t discriminate for eligibility on the basis of financial status.
You expect more from gambling because you spend money, with contests just fun
Contesting is such fun; no risk, great way to meet like minded people. You never know what is going to come in the Mail. Gambling is losing my money — no way!
Contesting doesn’t require funds up front like gambling, though one can have a lot of fun in Vegas and no one has to know about it!!!
Gambling is for suckers. Contesting is for pros.
i live a stone’s throw from casino niagara and over the past 11 years have a net negative balance from visiting that place but i have entered contests for over 25 years and have only gains to show for it
I prefer contesting over gambling simply because there is no risk with contesting. Unlike gambling, entering contests is always free and when you win, nothing beats that feeling you get of excitement and joy! Montreal, please.
I prefer contesting to gambling because with gambling you can lose your shirt. With contesting, you can win a shirt (I did that, then I won a $1000 wardrobe to go with it!).
Toronto is my city.
Contesting is FREE!! Gambling can cost you everything.
Vancouver is my City.
I LOVE contesting and stopped gambling completely once I started because with contesting you actually win and it’s free free free.
Please enter my for Vancouver.

I love gambling but I have to say contesting, My hobby (I call my part time job), has allowed me to do things that I wouldn’t normally do like go white water rafting, get my husband on a helicopter, I have gone on many awesome trips, including a 14day deluxe tour through Europe and I got to take 9 friends from anywhere in Canada to the Calgary Stampede for the weekend (with extras), and all sporting events, concerts, movies I have gone to that I wouldn’t normally have gone to
my city is TORONTO
Contesting actually puts you ahead. Gambling is pretty much guaranteed NOT to do that!
I’ve got time to spare but no money to lose so that’s why I love contesting compared to gambling.
My city is Vancouver — site of the 2010 Winter Olympics!
Sorry, had to do this again, left out the city.
Just discovered your website through a friend of mine and love it.
My city is Toronto
I love both! Contesting is free and yes gambling costs come out of your pocket. I’ve yet to win a big prize in either of the two. Lady luck has surely left my side.
Montreal is my city!!!!!!!!!!
A chance to meet the Queen? Count me in! Pencil me in for T.O.
I’m in the Mtl area.
I prefer contesting to gambling because the thought of parting with cash for a game makes me break out into a cold sweat! Plus, with contests (besides them being free!), the anticipation lasts a lot longer, extending the pleasure of speculation.
The biggest draw at the casinos is Don Rickles. He’s old, he’s mean and he still walks.
Steve Buscemi is my Daddy.
Tixs for Vancity
Please and Thank You

Contesting is free, including worry-free. Gambling stresses your brain up, full of worries and empty pockets. Go contesting always!
Montreal please!
With contesting, that phone call / email / letter could come at any time of any day — what a rush. But that big gambling win can only happen when you’re at the casino, and you can only stay until the money runs out.
Toronto.
I don’t have to lose my own money in contesting.
Vancouver
Contesting saves time; you don’t have to travel to the casino!
Vancouver
I prefer contesting to gambling because i have not lost any money and can still go shopping after entering a few contest. Any prize is a free gift!
I perfer contesting as it’s cheaper than gambling…can’t go in debt.
Vancouver
I have better luck with contesting than i do gambling.
Vancouver
As a contester, I always feel like a winner.I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t feel that way if I was a gambler.
The odds are way better with contesting vs gambling
Vancouver
There’s that surprise element which is always fun. Montreal for me!
I prefer contesting. I seem to do better and it’s free.
My city is Vancouver the Olympic city .Thanx
Contesting is fun and a real win — nothing to lose — it doesn’t cost you anything to play. Toronto.
I love my new found contesting habit…even won a few things..
Thanx
A movie would be nice!!!!!
I don’t believe in gambling and have never even bought a lottery ticket. Contesting, however, has proven to be successful for me. I have just won my 13th major trip!
I live in the Montreal area.
I love both activities, but gambling is too addictive as I get overly competitive and emotional since my own money is involved, and not just my time as in contesting.
Ben
Montréal
The ‘HOUSE’ is in your favour; they want you to win!!
Toronto is my winning town!
I think gambling requires more luck than contesting. At least it does for me. I seem to always lose when I gamble..even lotto tickets, but I’ve won a couple of small contests before..one was for movie tickets.
I live in Vancouver, so I guess that’s the city I’ll choose. ;P
Contesting is the best thing in my life. I live in Vancouver are.
Thank you!
