From The Contest Queen

Carol Shaffer wrote a book in 2002 called Contest Queen. Her book focuses on mail-in and in-person sweepstakes. She was recently interviewed for KETC in St. Louis.

I think it is interesting and fun to see how other countries run promotions. In Australia, similar to England, they enter competitions, so they call themselves compers.

Donna Battams is not only a comper, but a big winner and creator of AussieCompers.com. Lana Verco wrote an article on her and the hobby, Donna wins the luckiest job on earth, which appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald on January 27^th.

Between the holidays, a sick webmaster and a myriad of technical difficulties with Bell Canada Web Hosting, I am finally able to post my first blog. YEAH!
