As many of us have more time to pursue activities that have sat on the back burner, it’s the perfect time to update or upgrade your sweepstakes hobby. For the next few months, on Saturdays, I will feature a different sweepstakes aggregate/newsletter/website for you to try something new, plus win a prize they donate.
SweepSheet® was launched in 1989 at the 1st Annual National Sweepstakes Convention. The current editor/owner of SweepSheet® is Patti Osterheld.
The SweepSheet® product includes a members-only paid website at www.sweepsheet.com and a bi-weekly newsletter available either by mail or as an online downloadable PDF.
Sections of the website include online sweepstakes, mail-in sweeps, text sweeps, restricted sweeps, social network sweeps, contests and Hot Flashes which are quick closing sweepstakes.
The bi-weekly newsletter sections include: Profile of a Fanatical Sweepstaker, Sweepstakes, Contests, In-Stores, Text Sweeps and Winners.

What started out as a paper mailed out newsletter, has morphed into a massive digital website. Although the print edition stopped being mailed out last year, over 600 sweepstakes were included in the electronic edition. What never could have happened in the past, over 50,000 were shared on the website. This is not your grandmother’s SweepSheet! (For the diehards that love to peruse the print edition, you can log into your account and print out any issue you wish.
I had not realized how much has changed since I wrote my book. There were even new updates the week before this post. For example, in Conversation Corner, you can now edit posts, add photos and videos, change fonts, etc. It looks like when I update I will have to write a whole new blurb!
