There is another reality television show in the works related to sweepstakes. Working title, Free-cations. It is to be featured on the Travel Channel. What makes this show different than High Stakes Sweepers is they want to feature how to travel for free and winning a trip is a great way to do that. They are not going to film someone winning a trip. They are going to film someone either going on a trip they won or recreate a trip they won. Due to the filming schedule, I am assuming the pilot episode will air in January and, if successful, will become a series.
Do you want to participate?

Hi Carolyn!
Are you going to apply for this show? I know you have won some fabulous trips. Or did your re-creation experience with High Stakes Sweepers make you weery or other shows. I know you have been on other shows in the past speaking about the hobby.
Have a great day!
Nicole
Yes, I will be working with the production company. Not sure in which capacity yet. Right now it looks like Contest Expert/consultant. My purpose in life is to teach others how to have fun and as wonky as High Stakes Sweepers was, I know the show helped me towards my goal. This will just be another vehicle to do that. Plus, it’s a heck of a lot of FUN! I should write a post about how nice the film crew was. They were super people.
In all my years of contesting, I have personally never won a trip. My husband has though almost 11years ago and we used it for our honeymoon!
I’m like the sisters on High Stakes Sweepers, the big 4Cs elude me!
That sounds fun and you must be excited to be a part of it! Good for you! I am a newbie at entering contests (only since July) however, I just won a Club Med vacation for 2 adults and 2 children with my choice of where we wish to go, so we chose the newly renovated Sandpiper in Florida so we can hit Disney World too. I am super excited but I imagine they are looking for people who have won numerous times. I am spending 12-14 hrs daily entering since my workplace injury fiasco so I am hoping for many more wins. Goodness knows I spend more time entering per day than I ever did on any nursing shift! Good luck with this endeavour, it sounds like you’ll have a ball!
I have been luck with trips, winning one in 2010, then three in 2011, not ever sure, but through fb and twitter and random draw, really good. two we have gone on and two await us
