I have no excuse for this error. I could say I have a lot on my plate or juggling too many balls, but that is all they are. Excuses. I should be slowing down and focusing on the task at hand.
What Mistake Did I Make?
Last week I ran a contest to get screenshots for the How to Win on Social Media chapter in the 3rd Edition of How To Win Cash, Cars, Trips & More! After it was running for two days I realized I had implied a rule. I wasn’t implicit. UGH! I stated on the graphic that you could enter once per social media platform, but nowhere in the rules did I specifically say one entry per person per platform. I cannot print examples in my book with implied rules.
My dropping the ball is your gain. I am going to rerun the contest all over again, giving away three more gift cards! WOO HOO!

Are you going to enter across all three platforms?
You bet!
Definitely entered on all three platforms. Although IG has been very glitchy for me lately. Having blocking issues. Thanks for the contest Carolyn. Stay well.
Absolutely entered on all three. Thanks for the chance.
I entered on all 3 platforms big shock huh lol ty
My reply on Twitter won’t post but I’ve entered on the other sites!
I entered on all 3 platforms, and did so twice in case I made an error the first time around after reading your update – hope that’s ok, just didn’t want to miss out. Thanks so much Carolyn!!
All good as the program I use to draw the winners eliminates duplicates.
Am I missing something? What is the difference?
I didn’t say one entry per person per platform.
But you said ’you could enter once per social media platform’. Do you have to specify that ’you’ means ’person’?Otherwise, I still don’t see the difference. Or is it that there is no difference other than that is the legal wording you have to use?
