There are several questions I receive over and over again. One of them is, “How do I win more?” I felt an answer to that question was so vital to the hobby it’s why I included an entire chapter on Attracting Luck in my book and a full section on my website.
Excerpt from You Can’t Win If You Don’t Enter:
As I participated in online forums, attended club meetings, and met a multitude of sweepers, I noticed that some people seemed to win far more than others. What set those people apart? I realized there were seven traits and actions winners possessed and did. They:
- Expect to win.
- Think positively.
- Feel like a winner.
- Have good chi flowing inside and out.
- Share with others.
- Don’t cheat.
- Enter, Enter, Enter…
There are seven points, but I am only going to discuss point #3 in this post.
Feeling Like a Winner
Feel like a winner could also be: Practice the Law of Attraction because feeling like a winner is about vibrating at the right frequency to attracting in both prizes, money, and abundance.
Similar to radio, if you want to listen to 105 FM but are tuned to 92 FM, you are not going to receive the type of music you want to hear. If you are not winning as many prizes as you like, how are you feeling as you enter? Do you wonder why you are wasting your time? Are you expecting to win every contest you enter? Are you neutral?
Shifting one’s frequency is as simple as turning the dial. Before you start entering, envision the last time you got a winning email or phone call. How did you feel? I know I was excited and happy. I could even feel it physically, in my core. I am sure you felt the same way. Bring those dancing butterflies back, the fireworks going off inside, the song in your heart, your happy dancing feet.
NOW sit down and begin entering, or more appropriately, as Sharon Elaine likes to say, “I am off to WIN!”
The Nuts & Bolts
As for the practical tips for increasing your odds of winning, you can start with How Do I Win Big? and then 3 Ways to Increase Your Odds of Winning Sweepstakes. Also, start tracking what you are winning. You can then determine what is working and what isn’t.
If you are still stuck, email me your questions.
I have to disagree. While positive attitude does play a small part in the role of contesting where it allows one to have a good focus and positive attitude at sitting down for long periods of time to enter contests, I believe that the there is a key fact missing here.
That would be entering as many contests as you can find. Contesting as you know is based on the quantity of contests entered or even the correct time at entering (instant wins). It is about getting your name into all the draws where the statistical odds go up with each entry at your name being drawn or your time selected. Sure there are a few people who enter very few and get drawn randomly but the chances for them go down with each person who enters consistently.
I agree with you, but I couldn’t put it all in one post. I focus on point #3 in this specific post, but do you see what #7 is? Enter, Enter, Enter … exactly what you are talking about. I’ll expand further on this point soon.
