The trip started early as my friend Wendy and I drove up to Boston last night. As the convention hotel was sold out we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express close by.
As we couldn’t make it on Wednesday we had to set up our vendor table right away. As the hotel parking was expensive we had to empty the car before taking the car to a municipal lot.
The Bellman was amazing as I had him go all over the hotel with an overfull cart. Fist to registration, then to my vendor table followed by our room.
After a mad scramble my table was set up and ready to go!
It was a great afternoon as I think I spent as much time hugging friends as I did selling off my inventory and raffle tickets.
After selecting my Pick-a-Prize raffles and a short break, the evening Meet n Greet began.
The convention hosts decided to use the power of all of us to do good. Today’s donation prize was Kraft Dinner. For each box brought in you got a ticket. All the food was donated to a local food bank.
Although I didn’t win anything this session, Diana won the Kinder Eggs I donated to the convention. Apparently her 2-year-old granddaughter is fascinated by the unwrapping videos on YouTube and will flip out when she sees what Grandma won!
After a small late dinner, I am in the room blogging before turning in for another day of fun!
