As I was doing research for Prizes, Prizes, Everywhere! I discovered Dan Bader passed away in 2020 from cancer. His website is still managed by his best friend and IT Manager. Since “How do you win the lottery?” is one of the most popular questions I get, I thought you would enjoy revisiting what fun Dan brought in people’s lives with his optimism and sharing spirit.

How do you win the lottery?

This is one of the questions I get asked the most. And the answer is … I have no idea. If I did, I would have won the lottery and be retired in a villa in an exotic local never to be heard from again.

I may not have the answer, but Remez Sasson believes he does. Read his blog post Visualization and Winning the Lottery to discover how he thinks you can. I do believe in visualizing and the Law of Attraction, however, I don’t agree with his approach to them, especially the pitch to buy his book at the end.

One aspect of winning I do promote is to increase your odds of winning by participating in activities that do so. For example, entering contests with a shorter entry time period or entering local contests. What Are Your Odds of Winning?

Those tips don’t apply to the lottery as they are run either statewide or nationally by governing bodies. The odds are pitiful and you could waste hundreds of dollars gambling. However, Dan Bader (aka Captain Dano) created a website called My Free Lottery Pool.

My Free Lottery Pool

Here’s how it works. Each week he purchases dozens of real PowerBall and MegaMillions lottery tickets paid for with his website advertising revenue. He posts an image of the actual tickets on the website. He then invites his members to view the tickets and register into the 100% Free Lottery Pools. If any one of the free lottery tickets matches the official drawing results, everyone who is registered in the winning pool will share in the multi-million dollar jackpot. It’s Free. No Spam. No Scam. No Gimmicks. Nothing to Buy. Simply sign up and register. It’s even open worldwide.

As it did seem a bit too good to be true, so I interviewed Dan on the phone. He answered all my questions and confirmed the above. It’s free, easy and fun. (If you have additional questions, you can read his FAQs.) ABC News even interviewed him! (Watch the video below.)

Check out MyFreeLotteryPool for yourself then tell me what you think.
