MaryJo commented on this blog: I love getting all of your great advice, but something I am unsure of is how to pay it forward. What are your tips on when you win something? How do you keep the good “karma” points flowing? Thanks for all you do to help us win great prizes!! 😉
I love this question as I strongly believe in paying the fun forward. So much so that I included an entire chapter in my book called Attracting Luck. (Did you read my blog post called Think Like a Winner!? In it, I outline the seven traits and actions winners possess, including #5 Share With Others.)
In the book, I talk about how you get what you give, specifically referencing Deepak Chopra’s Law of Giving from The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. The premise is you reap what you sow. You sow kindness, fun, and excitement. It’s what you get in return, but there is a caveat. You must give without attachment to the outcome or without expecting anything in return.
To answer your specific question MaryJo, share any contests you find with others and give as much information about the promotions as you can (e.g. short rules such as: open to the U.S., 1x pp pd, referral entries, ends JUN 30), congratulate others who win, vote (even though I have despised voting contests for a long time and have very little time to vote myself) and offer any winning help or advice if you can. Kinda like this picture quote:

Great points Carolyn!! The only thing I could add is that a heartfelt positive attitude couldn’t hurt either.
The way I “Pay It Forward” is to gift a good portion of my winnings to friends and family. Especially kids- I tend to win a good number of children’s toys and games. My daughter can only have so much stuff, so I give them as birthday and holidays gifts and have also donated some things to the local children’s hospitals and charities.
Good points Carolyn
